Everyday, people spend hundreds of dollars on acne facial treatments in order to help cure their acne and/or beautify their skin. Some of these treatments include laser surgery, topical medications, homemade remedies, and steaming the face.

Well, one of the biggest reasons why acne facial treatments only work "temporarily" is because they only heal the symptoms of acne, rather than eliminating the root cause of it. Much of acne is indirectly caused by toxins that get into our fat cells, and from the deepest layer of our skin, arise to the surface of our skin only to find itself blocked by clogged pores.
Thus, in order to "unclog" those pores or heal a particular pimple, we buy more over-the-counter medications, we search for more home made remedies, we constantly use steam, or we invest in expensive laser surgery procedures. But this does not stop the root of acne; it will eventually still come back. Not only does solely relying on acne facial treatments not going to permanently cure acne, but it leaves room for a lot of future acne scars.
So instead of developing acne, and then curing it, developing acne, and then curing it, it's better if you just prevented acne from happening in the first place.
